The Global Commission on the Economy and Climate\u2019s Better Growth, Better Climate report shows that building more productive cities through transformative shifts towards more compact, connected, and coordinated development can create cities which are more competitive, inclusive, resilient, cleaner, quieter, safer, and most importantly lower carbon. This approach could reduce urban infrastructure capital requirements by more than US$3 trillion over the next 15 years. And the good news is that we also know how.
